Some of my earliest beauty memories come from watching the women in my family get ready. My beautiful Bengali mother taught me the elegance of a classic eyeliner long before I ever picked up a professional makeup brush. At the same time, growing up in a multicultural city surrounded by friends from different backgrounds, languages, and traditions taught me that beauty has no single definition.
Growing up between East and West gave me a unique perspective on beauty.
Today, my work is inspired by both worlds - the richness and elegance of my heritage, paired with the modern sophistication of my Canadian upbringing. Through travels across more than 40 countries and experiences spanning Toronto, Dubai, and Bangladesh, I've developed a beauty philosophy that blends timeless glamour with contemporary refinement.
As a certified professional makeup artist and former Pro Artist with M·A·C Cosmetics, I've had the privilege of contributing to luxury experiences and events alongside Sabyasachi x Holt Renfrew, Gaurav Gupta, Farah Khan, Malabar Diamonds, and major M·A·C Cosmeticslaunches. Whether working with brides, brands, professionals, or creatives, I approach every client with the same level of care, precision, and commitment to excellence.
Beyond artistry, my background in Human Resources from Sheridan College and CHRP studies through the University of Toronto has helped shape the foundation of Shobeauty Inc. It instilled in me the importance of professionalism, communication, and creating experiences that feel seamless from beginning to end.
For me, beauty has never been about changing who someone is. It's about celebrating individuality, honoring personal style, and bringing confidence to the moments that matter most. Every face has a story, and it's a privilege to be part of it.
