Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling requests are subject to availability and may result in the loss of the retainer. Additional fees may apply depending on timing and booking requirements.

Late Arrivals

Destination beauty services are available for clients celebrating beyond the Greater Toronto Area, throughout Canada and internationally.

To receive a custom proposal, please provide:

BEFORE YOUR BRIDAL APPOINTMENT

Hair Preparation

For clients booking hairstyling services, hair should be freshly washed, completely dried, and free of oils or heavy styling products prior to the appointment.

If you wear extensions, please advise Shobeauty in advance. Clip-in, tape-in, sew-in, and other extension types can be accommodated with proper preparation.

For South Asian bridal styling requiring volume, structure, or traditional techniques, please notify Shobeauty ahead of time if synthetic padding, hair accessories, dupattas, veils, or headpieces will be incorporated into your final look.

Luxury hairstyling services are available through Shobeauty's trusted beauty team and can be discussed during the inquiry process.

The Face

Please arrive with a clean, moisturized face free of makeup. Gentle exfoliation is recommended prior to your appointment to ensure a smooth and flawless application.

Skin Preparation

Avoid introducing new skincare products, facials, peels, or treatments immediately before your wedding day. Well-prepared, hydrated skin allows makeup to perform at its highest level.

Brows & Facial Hair

For the most seamless makeup application, brow grooming, threading, waxing, or facial hair removal should be completed at least a few days before your appointment to avoid redness, irritation, or skin sensitivity.

Contact Lenses

If you wear contact lenses, please insert them before your appointment begins.

The Outfit

If your bridal outfit, gown, dupatta, or veil must be worn over the head, it should be put on before makeup begins whenever possible.

Bridal Touch-Up Essentials

Your bridal touch-up essentials may include:

• Powder Puff For Shine Control

• Lip Colour For Reapplication

• Blotting Papers

• Alternatively, a bright, well-lit room

• Nearby electrical outlet access

• Additional Beauty Essentials As Required

Jewelry & Accessories

Please have all jewelry, dupattas, veils, hair accessories, and outfit details readily available.

Client Etiquette

This is your time to relax and enjoy the experience. To ensure the most polished result, please limit eating, drinking, excessive movement, and prolonged phone use during the application process.

Location Setup

For on-location appointments, please prepare:

• A clean table or counter space

• A comfortable chair

• Access to natural daylight whenever possible

• Alternatively, a bright, well-lit room

• Nearby electrical outlet access

• A calm, uncluttered getting-ready environment
  

Proper lighting allows for accurate colour matching and ensures your makeup photographs beautifully throughout the day.

Please arrive with clean, moisturized skin free of makeup unless discussed otherwise.

Before your appointment:

• Wash and moisturize your face

• Avoid heavy oils immediately before application

• Complete waxing, threading, or facial treatments in advance

• Bring inspiration photos if you have a specific look in mind

For photoshoots, branding sessions, content creation, or media appearances, outfit details and mood boards are always welcomed.
